VIDEO CLIP: Intense efforts are being made to ensure that the district energy project CELSIUS, now with more than 50 European member cities, continues to assist and motivate progress after project closure.
Leading figures in the project are now mapping out the course to making it happen. See them interviewed here.
IMCG is in charge of mapping out of business models and stakeholders that can carry the legacy of CELSIUS forward. Many valuable resources have been gathered in the project, among them a multitude of cities wanting cooperation, an extensive network of experts, experiences from district heating and cooling networks built in very different conditions, and demonstrators exploring new applications.
The goal is for CELSIUS to keep contributing to the extension of district heating and cooling networks in Europe, thereby helping cities move away from fossil fuel dependence.
We caught the experts as they were working – see them interviewed here.
